Rural Enterprises is an Australian developer and provider of on-line employee induction programs and a leader in rural training and safety initiatives.
Originally established as a rural labour hire consultancy, the company has steadily developed its services in the increasingly important field of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and the associated employer responsibilities. In doing this it has developed sophisticated systems that have applications across a broad range of industries – not simply the rural sector.
An effective CD-based induction program was developed early in 2004, however, this has been replaced by the company’s on-line (internet/intranet) systems. The programs focus on current OSH issues and employers’ Duty of Care.
Although originally designed for employers in the rural sector, CuBAT (Computer-based Agricultural Training) has attracted wider interest. Rural Enterprises are now able to adapt their programs to suit specific business.
